How did the 'Something Borrowed Blooms' idea come about?
If you have ever been involved in the wedding planning process, you know that the cost of floral arrangements is a very pretty penny. The average cost of floral arrangements for your big day starts at around $3,000. And that's just the flowers.
Own the memories, rent the flowers
Bercier shares in the interview with CBS that she personally felt buyer's remorse after spending thousands on flowers for her wedding because at the end of the day, they end up being thrown away. She knew there had to be a better more economical way to decorate a wedding venue and was inspired by the 'Rent the Runway" concept. This concept allows customers to rent designer pieces for special occasions without having to commit to the high price tag.
In a similar way, Borrowed Blooms allows couples to choose from one their 19 collections of floral designs specially curated and designed by professional floral designers.
Can you tell that they are fake flowers?
These are not your typical 'fake' flowers you find in Hobby Lobby. Borrowed Blooms uses the highest quality silk flowers to ensure that they are the perfect size and color. Their team of professional floral designers uses fresh flower techniques when creating floral arrangements to make them visually look real.
Not only that they offer a scented option for couples who want more than just pretty floral arrangements.
You can check out their full website here for more details on all the products they offer.
