John Schneider Holding Annual Bo’s Extravaganza July 18-19
John Schneider's annual birthday celebration at his studios in Holden, Louisiana is back. Bo's Extravaganza was originally scheduled for April and now has been rescheduled for July 18-19.
The event will have food, rides, a carnival, live music, a car show and more. Headliners will be legendary country duo The Bellamy Brothers.
On Sunday, in addition to a bike show and church services, you could actually be in a movie. Schneider will be wrapping up filming of his new movie "Stand On It", which is a tribute to the "Smokey and the Bandit" film series.
Of course, John Schneider is primarily known for his role as Bo Duke on the hit television series "The Dukes of Hazzard." He also enjoyed success as a country singer in the 1980s.
Given today's climate, there will no doubt be some questioning why Schneider would be holding such an event during the coronavirus pandemic. He had the following to say during a recent Facebook Live video about the event.
And by the way, since we are in Phase 2 (of reopening) in the state of Louisiana, what we are doing is we are spreading Bo's Extravaganza out over the 150 acres so that everyone can do what you wish for the social-distancing thing.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at bosextravaganza.com/tickets. If you're going for one day, it's $30 and a weekend pass is available for $50.
