Lafayette-Based Frank’s International To Go Public By Summer
LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- It appears Lafayette-based Frank's International, formerly known as Frank's Casing Crew, is preparing to go public on the New York Stock Exchange.
According to a May 10 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company plans to go public at some point this year.
Company chairman Keith Mosing expects to have an Initial Public Offering by early July and hopes to raise at least $500 million.
Frank's traces its history back to 1938 with the establishment by Frank Mosing of Frank's Casing Crew & Rental Tools. In 1981, Donald Keith Mosing created Frank's International, "a separate and independent company, and expanded the business across North America and into South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe," according to information on the company's website.
The SEC filing states the company is one of the largest global providers of tubular services to the oil and gas industry.
