Lafayette City – Parish Council Votes On South City Parkway Tonight

The Lafayette City - Parish Council will vote tonight on whether or not the extension of South City Parkway to Verot School Road in Lafayette is a public necessity.

KATC reports that the council will vote on a plan proposing the extension of South City Parkway at its intersection with Robley Drive through to Verot School Road. Such an extension would require a new bridge across the Vermilion River as we reported back in January of this year.
