The Lafayette Police Department is leaning on its citizens for help tracking down looters.

Early Monday morning (Aug 24), Citi Trends off of Evangeline Thruway was looted and multiple videos of the looting circulated on social media.

Lafayette Police have posted multiple photos of people they are seeking in reference to looting and fighting that occurred at the Citi Trends store location off of the Evangeline Thruway.

The photos and videos from LPD are being shared by many, but there are definitely mixed reactions from members of the community who are upset that Lafayette Police seem to be putting more energy into catching looters than releasing information in relation to the fatal officer-involved shooting of Trayford Pellerin but that case has been turned over to State Police and is still currently under investigation.
