Lafayette Woman Identified After Remains Found Two Months Ago Near Franklin

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith says 39-year-old Casey Marie Collins of the Lafayette area is the woman whose remains were found in a wooded area 10 miles north of Franklin on Friday, January 8, 2021.

In the press release, Sheriff Smith says investigators are continuing to treat this case as a homicide. Call the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office if you have any information.
