After 35 years, Schlotzsky's on Johnston Street in Lafayette will be closing its doors.

Ted and Cindy Nevels, owners of the Schlotzsky's Johnston Street location, announced this past Sunday (02/21/21) they will be retiring and as a result, their location will be closing at the end of this February according to KATC.

Although the Johnston St. location will be closing on Feb. 28, the Nevels say the Schlotzsky's on Pinhook will remain open.

The building Schlotzsky's has operated out of for the past 35 years has been listed for sale for $1.325 million according to theadvocate.com.
