Lake Charles Cops Investigate Three Homicides

LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) — Lake Charles police are investigating three weekend homicides.

The American Press reports (http://bit.ly/cseYHv ) a stabbing happened Sunday afternoon and a shooting death Sunday night.

Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said details on the deaths would be released Monday.

Kraus said it was the third homicide Friday.

Police have already arrested a man in connection with Friday night's death.

Twenty-six-year-old Dustin Belest Pleasant was booked with second-degree murder in the death of an unidentified female.
