Lawyers For Boston Bombing Suspect Tsarnaev In Court
BOSTON (AP) — Lawyers for the Boston Marathon bombing suspect want some of the charges against their client tossed out and restrictions eased on him in prison.
The attorneys will make their request today before a federal judge in Boston.
A 30-count federal indictment charges Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-HAHR' tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) with last year's twin bombings that killed three people and wounded dozens more.
But his attorneys say many of those charges are redundant and could sway jurors.
