Leach Says Democrats “Still Very Much In The Game” For Fall Races
The chairman of the state Democratic Party says don't count them out of fall elections. Louisiana Democratic Party chairman Buddy Leach says though a number of Democrats have switched to the GOP in recent months, his party is still very much in the game. Leach says Senate President Joel Chaisson, former Secretary of State Al Ater and newcomer Caroline Fayard are but a few names that could enter fall races. He says any of those would stand up for what's important for Louisiana. He suggests current leadership falls short of that mark.
