Louisiana Insurer Debating Supreme Court Appeal
The state's insurer of last resort is debating whether it should go to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The company was ordered to pay $93-million after it was found to have moved too slowly in handling claims from the 2005 hurricanes.
Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon says he and the company, Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, will discuss their remaining legal options.
A decision will be made next week.
