Louisiana Republican Party Has A New Executive Director
The LAGOP has a new Executive Director after a vote of the Executive Board.
Vermilion Parish native Brittney Reed has been chosen as the new Louisiana Republican Party Executive Director. The board voted for the 31-year-old woman in a recent regular meeting.
Reed has been on the political scene for about six years, and she has helped on campaigns, grassroots efforts and trying to expand voter outreach.
She will be in charge of a variety of assignments as the new LAGOP Executive Director including the following:
- Budget planning
- Liaison between all elected officials
- Liaison between all political candidates
- Day to day management of party affairs
- Strategic planning
The post was held before by Andrew Bautsch who decided to leave the job to help work on the 5th Congressional District campaign of Luke Letlow.
Reed had this to say about her new position,
I'm honored and excited to have this opportunity to work with the party. We have a series of tasks ahead, but I am confident that with our team, the LAGOP will be able to grow our party, improve Louisiana, and Keep America Great.
Louis Gurvich, the Charmain of the Louisiana Republican party, says,
Brittney has the talent and determination to build upon the success our party has achieved over the last several years. I've already been impressed by the enthusiasm and creativity she has shown in this role.
Reed has said that she will use her skills to to enhance the effectiveness of the Republican Party in the state of Louisiana.
