Lourdes Foundation has begun accepting grant applications for the 2009 funding cycle.  All applications must be received in the Foundation Office no later than noon, Tuesday, February 15, 2011.  Any application that is received after the deadline will not be considered in the current funding cycle.

Scott Brazda sat down with Jeigh Stipe with the Lourdes Foundation on The Afternoon Report.

An entity requesting consideration for an award will attest that it meets the following criteria:

  1. has been designated as a 501(c)3 organization
  2. has a mission, goals and values that are consistent with those of

Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Inc. and Lourdes Foundation, Inc.

  1. has a project that interfaces with the Mission Statements of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Inc. and Lourdes Foundation, Inc.
  2. has a project that is healthcare based
  3. has a project that will reach, touch or enhance the lives of those people in the community most in need.

Please note on your application if your project or agency is willing to or has an opportunity to engage in “matching funding”.  This collaborative effort is greatly encouraged.

The entity requesting consideration will complete a grant application form providing as much detail as deemed appropriate by the party completing said form.  All areas of the application need to be completed for the application to be considered.  Each application must include the original and six (6) copies of the application and all attachments.

Any funds awarded during the current funding cycle are for calendar year 2011 and there is no guarantee that any funds will be available during any subsequent funding cycle.

Application requests submitted will not be returned to the entity making application.

If you have any questions or want a grant application form, please contact Jeigh Stipe at 337-289-4610 or by email at http://mce_host/Jeigh.stipe@lourdesrmc.com.
