LPD Chief Toby Aguillard: “Our Officers Are Hurting”
In the wake of the shooting that left Corporal Michael Middlebook dead, Lafayette Police Chief Toby Aguillar joined Acadiana's Morning News. His message: the officers are hurting. Middlebook was gunned down after responding to a battery call at a convenience store near the corner of Moss Street and Van Buren. He was a 9 year veteran of Lafayette Police and is survived by a loving family.
