Malaysia Says ‘Cautiously Hopeful’
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysia's defense minister says he's "cautiously hopeful" that there will be positive developments in the next few days, "if not hours," in the search for the missing airliner.
Australian authorities say they've picked up sounds in the southern Indian Ocean that could be pings from data recorders.
