Man Arrested for Allegedly Shooting Sister in Lafayette

A 70-year-old woman is listed in critical condition and her brother – 57-year-old Jeffrey M. Davis of Lafayette – has been arrested after a shooting in the 700 block of White Oak Drive shortly before 7:00 a.m. Friday morning. 

Davis sits in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a charge of Attempted Second Degree Murder. The investigation continues.
