Man Gets 96 Months For Firearm Possession

Today, 38 year old Ricky Nikki Beene of Haynesville was sentenced to 96 months in prison and three years supervised release for possessing a firearm after being convicted of a felony.

On June 1, 2012 a man identified as Beene was seen carrying a gun at an apartment complex in Haynesville. Police went to Beene's home where he was arrested as he drove up. Beene's car was searched and a .380 pistol was found along with $900 in cash, crack cocaine and marijuana.
