Former Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, and Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch has been enjoying retirement this season, but could a return to the football field be in store?

Lynch, who's best seasons came in a Seahawks uniform, is traveling to Seattle today to discuss a potential return to action, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

The Seahawks are in the NFC playoffs, and still have a chance to win their division, with a potential bye still at play as well.

However, Seattle lost to the Cardinals yesterday and lost key players as well.

Running backs after Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise were both injured yesterday, while running back Rashad Penny tore his ACL two weeks ago.

Lynch retired from the league following the 2015 seasons, but applied for reinstatement in 2017 in hopes of playing for his hometown Oakland Raiders.

The Seahawks traded him to Oakland, where he played in 2017 and 2018, before retiring for a second time last offseason.
