National Day of Prayer Is Thursday, May 6
The town of Scott is one of the many towns across Acadiana and the nation that will hold ceremonies for the National Day of Prayer.
Officials with the town of Scott say their ceremony will begin at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning, and it will conclude at 1 o'clock.
The event will be held at the Scott Events Center which is located at 110 Lions Club Road.
The day's event will begin with multiple prayers from local churches. The event will also feature music and fellowship according to officials.
At part of the day's events, everyone is invited to partake in a free jambalaya meal.
