Coming on the heels of a recent statement by Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry that the 1969 American landing (and all subsequent missions) on the moon was fake, 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty solicited opinions from listeners on the topic.

From the nytimes.com

"Curry...said he did not believe the United States had landed on the moon, leading to a short discussion of some of the more popular conspiracy theories, including one asserting that the film director Stanley Kubrick had staged the entire thing."

Curry, who made the comments while guesting on an Atlanta-based podcast, was both supported and taken to task by KEEL listeners:

"Why would anyone born before 1980 believe the moon landing was real, considering that half the people who who lived it don't believe it?"

"They Put things on the moon that are detectable from earth. I saw that on an episode of "Big Bang Theory."

"Y'all remind me of a line...from comedian Lewis Grizzard: 'My grandmother believed that wrestling was real and the moon landing was fake.'"
