The Saints offseason is underway much earlier than most expected. New Orleans season ended in shocking fashion on Saturday losing to Seattle 41 to 36 in an N-F-C wild card playoff game. NFL analyst Mike Detillier says for the Saints to get back to the playoffs, there are three key areas that New Orleans must address. The Saints had trouble this season keeping their running backs healthy. Detillier says finding a dependable running back and quality back-ups will also be important. There are a lot of unknowns going into the season, because the N-F-L's collective bargaining agreement with the players' union will end the first week March. But under current rules, the Saints would have 28 unrestricted free agents. Detillier says Reggie Bush's big contract might not be around next year.
