NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Water pressure in New Orleans is back to normal after dropping for the second time in just over a month in many parts of the city.

The city's Sewerage and Water Board said a problem at one of their stations resulted in some residents experiencing no water or extremely low water pressure Wednesday night. The problem affected the entire New Orleans area except the Algiers neighborhood, which is on the west bank of the Mississippi River. But pressure was restored soon after it dropped and this time there was no boil water advisory issued.

In late November a longer-lasting drop in pressure resulted in a precautionary boil water advisory while water was tested for contamination.
