LAKE ARTHUR, La. (AP) — Lake Arthur police say nine people have now been arrested in the death of a 73-year-old man whose body was found in his home after his burning car was found in a remote area near Gueydan.

The American Press reports that Sierra White was booked Friday as a principal to both second-degree murder and armed robbery.

White was held without bond in the Jefferson Davis Parish jail. It was not clear whether she has an attorney who could comment.

Charles Talen's body was found Feb. 21. An autopsy found that he died of trauma to the back of his head. On Feb. 27, two men were booked with capital murder and robbery. Another three men and two women have been booked as principals or accessories after the fact.
