Only One Bay Open at Morganza

The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers has announced it has now closed all but one of the flood gates on the Morganza Spillway. The latest closure comes in response to the falling levels on the Mississippi River. With only one gate still open the flow of water from the Mississippi to the Atchafalya Basin is down to a trickle.
