BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Baton Rouge police say a 25-year-old man crashed his car into a house after he was shot several times.

Capt. Joan Cage tells The Advocate (http://bit.ly/ItJHoV ) officers responded to a report Wednesday of shots fired and a vehicle hitting a home in Scotlandville.

Cpl. Tommy Stubbs says police believe the man was shot while in his car, which caused him to crash into the house.

Stubbs says the unidentified man was taken to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.

He says investigators have no suspects or motive for the shooting.
