The theft of a tractor from Evangeline is just one of the crimes being highlighted by the Acadia Crime Stoppers program.

Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office say that the tractor was stolen at some point between December 27 and December 30, 2019.

Somebody obviously wanted this tractor really bad as investigators think they would have needed a trailer with a winch to haul it away.

The other thing about the tractor is that it has damage to its grill..

Detectives are asking people to be looking out for a red Mahindra 3525DI Tractor and a 5 foot bush hog.

Officials are not sure which day this tractor was stolen, and there is not a lot of traffic around the area were this tractor was.

If you think you have seen the tractor and bush hog, you are asked to get that information to the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers officials.

There are a few ways you can do that.

If you want to call in an anonymous tip, you can call the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 337-789-TIPS(8477).

Another anonymous way to provide law enforcement with information about the stolen traffic is to download the P3 app on your phone.

This tractor was stolen from the 100 block of BM Oil Rd. in Evangeline.

By calling in a tip, or using the P3 app to make a tip, officials with the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers Program might give you reward money.

Maybe you saw someone driving with a trailer that had an older tractor on the back, or you overheard something, either way, it could mean money in your pocket.
