Ragin’ Cajun Catholics Secure Matching Funds For Giving Day

Your money given to the Ragin' Cajun Catholics at Our Lady of Wisdom to Thursday will be matched up to $32,000.

It's all part of the annual South Louisiana Giving Day.

The congregation of the church will be working to raise money for their missionary work to spread the word about Christ.

For the 2019-2020 cycle, the students will FOCUS, which stands for The Fellowship of Catholic University Students. They will be working with student outreach on the campus and beyond.

Thanks to a generous person, each donation that anyone makes will be matched until they reach $32,000.

The Day of Giving begins May 9 when the clock strikes midnight and will run for 24 hours. Non-profit groups throughout Acadiana take part in the day.
