New Orleans Saints fans on Wednesday can start getting state-issued license plates commemorating the NFL team's Super Bowl victory.

Michelle Rayburn, a spokeswoman for the state Office of Motor Vehicles, told The Times-Picayune that 4,400 special license tags have been stamped out so far by the arm of the corrections system that produces the plate.

Rayburn says not all OMV offices will have the Saints tags. She says they'll be available in motor vehicle offices in larger metropolitan areas, declining to provide specific locations. She urged those who want to buy the tags to call 225-925-6146 to find out which offices have them.

The plates will cost at least $61.50 for two years — on top of the standard plate cost based on the value of the vehicle.
