Santorum Suspends – But Doesn’t Terminate – Campaign

Rick Santorum has suspended his campaign for the Republican Presidential nomination and on "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" Fox News analyst Jeff Birnbaum explained the move.   Birnbaum said  the move is a legal one and "if he actually ended his campaign it would be hard for him to raise money to reduce his debt".  Birnbaum said this clears the way for Mitt Romney to claim the nomination.Birnbaum said it was obvious that there is still bad-blood between Santorum and Romney because Santorum did not even mention Romney during his announcement or wish him well.  Birnbaum went on to say that it's clear that Santorum doesn't believe he will even be considered for the vice-presidential nomination.
