When Sean Payton was asked if he would name a starting quarterback for Sunday's home game against the Arizona Cardinals, he declined.
He did mention that both Drew Brees and Teddy Bridgewater did get a lot of work in during practices for the Cardinals this week. He says they will, "probably wait until Sunday."
In talking about Drew in practice, Payton said that he looked good, was limited, but they'll "have a good plan."
When Drew joined the team back at practice, he said that the plan was for him to play Sunday. Obviously, he and Payton have a better grip on everything than outsiders, so we'll have to trust them.
All of this shouldn't be that big of a surprise, as Sean Payton had previously noted that it would most likely be a morning-of decision.
Or it could just be Sean Payton being Sean Payton and messing with the Cardinals, right?
Sunday can't come fast enough!
