Second Person Wanted In Lafayette Shooting Death
Officials with the Lafayette Police Department say they are now looking to identify another person that they say was involved in a fatal shooting at a Lafayette convenience store.
Earlier this week, on Wednesday September 23, members of the Middle and Western District Louisiana Marshal's service took a 17-year-old into custody who was identified through news coverage as being the person being sought for the crime.
Lafayette Police Department Spokesman Sergeant Wayne Griffin says, via press release, that the 17-year-old juvenile is being charged with Second Degree murder in connection with the murder that happened in the 800 block of North University.
Griffon says they are now seeking to identify the person in the photo above.
If you can identify this person, you are urged to call the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 337-232-TIPS(8477).
