Security Expert Says Planning Saved Lives In Connecticut Shootings

Security expert Catherine Smit-Torrez joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today to discuss Friday's shootings in Connecticut.  Smit-Torrez is a security and crime prevention expert with more than 20 years experience.  When asked about the performance of teachers and staff at Sandy Hook Elementary during the shootings Smit-Torrez said,

The teachers, staff and administration handled the situation in a very professional manner.  They followed the security plan that was developed and tested for them perfectly.  Without planning and proper execution of their plan many more would have been killed.
