Senate Committee Works Memorial Day
The state Senate Finance Committee spent their Memorial Day holiday working on the 25 billion dollar state budget bill sent to them from the House last week. Committee chairman Mike Michot of Lafayette says 200 million dollars was cut from the budget against the Governor's wishes, and his committee will look into restoring those cuts.
