The curfew that was set for Thursday evening in St. Martin Parish has been canceled by Parish President Chester Cedars.

St. Martin Parish President Chester Cedars has announced a Parish-wide curfew beginning Wednesday (08/26/20).

KATC reports Cedars will be imposing a curfew for St. Martin Parish "beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 8:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Thursday, and Thursday, August 27, 2020, from 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. on Friday."

In addition, Cedars is strongly encouraging a voluntary evacuation for those living in the Stephensville/Belle River area of Lower St. Martin Parish.
