Street Racers Crash, Killing Jeanerette Man

Street racing is stupid. Street Racing when you’re drunk is begging for trouble. Disaster struck Saturday afternoon when 57-year-old Latimer Brock and 56-year-old Christopher Brock decided to drag race on N. Lobdell Blvd. in Baton Rouge.

Christopher Brock lost control of his BMW, crashing into Lattimore Brock's Mustang. Both vehicles left the road, striking a utility pole and a Bicycle. Christopher Brock, and the bicyclist, Deondrick Rudd of Jeanerette, were both killed in the crash.

Lattimore Brock has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail on charges of DWI, drag racing, failure to maintain control, reckless driving and vehicular homicide.
