Suspect Arrested in Shooting Death of Baldwin Man
UPDATE--Wednesday, 9:41 a.m.:
A second suspect in a deadly weekend shooting is now in custody.
Roshonda Thomas is facing an accessory to second-degree murder charge in the death of Brian Gibson.
The alleged gunman, Anthony Hills, surrendered to Jeanerette marshals on Sunday.
23-year-old Brian Gibson, Jr., of Baldwin is dead and his accused killer is behind bars following a weekend shooting on Main Street in Baldwin.
According to a press release from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, Anthony Hills turned himself in to the Jeanerette Marshal's Office after authorities contacted him to let him know he had a warrant out for his arrest.
Hills has been arrested and charged with 2nd Degree murder and has been transported to the Iberia Parish Jail. Bail has been set at $1,000,000.
