A mother and a dance teacher from South Louisiana, faced a life-threatening situation on Hwy 90 that she describes as the most frightening experience of her life.
Reports say that the announcement was made concerning the permanent end of Cargill's salt production at their mine located in Avery Island, Louisiana. The mine has been operated by the company for twenty-four years and the outlook for its' employees is still uncertain.
The Iberia Parish Coroner's Office has announced the identities of both employees who were tragically killed in the Cargill salt mine roof collapse in Avery Island this past Monday (12/14/20).
