The dorms that will be demolished were built in the late 60's, and they have not been used for student housing for the last several years due to the fact that they needed renovations.
It's going to take some time for the complete demolition of the dorms, but the activity is in full swing, and if you were used to seeing those buildings while driving on campus, the scenery has changed.
A master plan that will guide the future growth of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette over the next 15 years is now under development by Architects Southwest.
