Although the proposal to create taxing districts for Lafayette's new development Parc Lafayette has been pulled from the City Parish Council's agenda, members of the Tea Party of Lafayette plan on showing up tonight to address the council.
Developer Dr. Glenn Stewart along with Greg Gothroeaux the Executive Director of the Industrial Development Board for Lafayette Parish withdrew their proposal to create taxing districts to pay for the project.
