Texas Powerball Payday – Texas Lottery Confirms Monday Night Win

The Texas Lottery has confirmed some big money wins on Texas-sold tickets for Monday's Powerball drawing. That game, Powerball, has already produced a one million dollar winner in Austin and a $50,000 winner in Beaumont this year. And if Monday's drawing is any indication, Texas' Powerball lottery luck is not about to let up.

Last night, May 20,.2024 the Powerball Lottery held its Monday drawing. The jackpot was an estimated annuitized $88.5 million. The lump sum payout was in the neighborhood of $40 million. Our sources in Austin at the Texas Lottery have revealed that twenty tickets sold for Monday's Powerball drawing earned a prize of $200. Another forty-nine tickets sold for Monday's game earned a prize of $100. But the three biggest prizes were two $50,000 winners and one $100,000 winner.

Based on what our sources at Powerball have revealed the Texas ticket that earned a prize of $100,000 was one of the largest prizes won in last night's game. There were no Match 5 Million prizes in Monday's drawing so a ticket that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball with the Power Play option was the top money winner in last night's drawing.

Since there was no jackpot winner the Powerball jackpot prize will increase to an estimated $100 million for Wednesday's drawing. That is the annuitized estimation, the lump sum payout estimate is $47 million. The next Powerball drawing will be at 9:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
