There were some amazing shows in Dallas and Houston from the late '70s through the late '80s. The Texxas World Music Festival (aka. Texxas Jam, Monsters of Rock) put together the annual concert that filled venues like the Cotton Bowl, Astrodome, and Rice Stadium. For the ticket price of $13-15 in most cases, you could catch some of the biggest names in rock at the time, from Van Halen to the Eagles, Scorpions, and more.

I remember having a ticket to the 88 Monsters of Rock show in Dallas but not being able to attend because everyone I worked with was going and I couldn't get a replacement. Ahh, the good old days. Scrolling through the years of shows got us thinking if we had a time machine and could go back to any one of the Texxas (that's how they spelled it on the flyers) Jam shows, which one would we pick? But, we'd rather know which one you would re-visit given the opportunity. After scrolling through, let us know in the poll below which would be your pick.

Well, there you have it, a quick blast from the past. Now, which year would you like to re-visit and enjoy some great live rock music?
