I don't know how to tell you this but um...it looks like we could be about to come to face to face with a Country-wide french fry shortage.

Due to a less than stellar potato crop caused by cold and wet weather this year, we could be ready to go through a french fry shortage according to thehill.com.

I know. My world is turned upside down right now too.

In an effort to try and avoid this, farmers report they are currently trying to buy potatoes from around the globe to try and stop the shortage before it happens.

Another contributing factor to the possible french fry shortage is that apparently, global demand for french fries is at an all time high according to thehill.com.
