The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns basketball team knew that they would have a tough task when they traveled up to Monroe to face ULM. The Warhawks got their lead to as much as 22 in the first half and the Cajuns came on late in the first half to get the lead down to 10 but the Warhawks pushed the lead back up to 14 before the end of the half. Jakeenan Gant and Cedric Russell helped get the Cajuns back in the game as they scored 13 points and 9 points respectively in the first half.
