Think you're pretty smart? This IQ test may prove otherwise. The Cognitive Reflection Test was originally published as part of a research paper by MIT professor Shane Frederick 14 years go. It's the world's shortest IQ test. There are only 3 questions. More than 80% fail, according to The Mirror.

Here they are:

#1 A bat & ball cost a total $1.10. The ball costs $1.00 more than the ball. What's the price of the ball?

#2 It takes 5 machines 5 minutes to make 5 widgets. How long will it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets?

#3 A patch of lily pads in a lake doubles in size every day. It takes 48 days to cover the entire lake. How long will it take to cover half the lake?
