Three Hospitalized After Interstate Accident

Three people are hospitalized including a Lafayette Sheriff's deputy after a crash on I-10 at Ambassador Caffery.  

Lafayette police say the driver of a pickup truck crossed over the interstate median into on-coming traffic and hit another pickup truck.  Debris from the accident then hit a sheriff's unit.  The driver of the pickup truck that crossed the median is hospitalized in critical condition.  The deputy and other driver have minor injuries.
