The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns are on the rise in the third college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) of 2019, which was released on Monday.

Louisiana, who is currently 29-4 on the season, including a 12-0 Sun Belt Conference record, is listed at number 21 this week, up three spots from last week.

The Cajuns, return to the diamond this Wednesday, when they travel to Lake Charles to face the McNeese Cowgirls in a non-conference tilt.

Florida St. is the top team in this week's RPI listings, followed by Oklahoma, UCLA, LSU, and Washington.

6-10 consists of Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, Florida, and Alabama.

Louisiana is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school, followed by Troy (#48), Texas St. (#78), South Alabama (#94), Appalachian St. (#95), UTA (#99), Coastal Carolina (#107), Georgia Southern (#146), Georgia St. (#210), and ULM (#222).
