Underwater Pings Relocated In Hunt For Missing Malaysian Jet
PERTH, Australia (AP) — An analysis of the latest underwater signals picked up by a ship searching for a missing Malaysian airliner is providing reason for some optimism.
The head of the search effort says two sounds detected in the same area last week showed they were consistent with a plane's black boxes.
Angus Houston also says the two signals were picked up again yesterday.
