UPDATE: Sandbags Available Ahead of Potential Flood Event
OPELOUSAS, La. (KPEL News) - While we are no strangers to the rain here in South Louisiana, there is still a limit to what the ground can handle. With the weather forecast calling for a good bit of rain over the next few days, the time to prepare for possible flooding is now.
According to our friend KATC Meteorologist Daniel Phillips, "Expect area-wide rain totals through Thursday to be in the 2-4" range with isolated spots receiving 6" or more leading to some localized flooding."
