Violations By Lafayette Housing Authority

An investigation by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office concludes in a report released today that the Lafayette Housing Authority may have violated the Louisiana Constitution on a number of occasions.  The violations include the misuse of state appropriated funds, allowing LHA employees and immediate family members to enter into contracts with the LHA and failing to bid out services provided by architects, attorneys and consultants.
