Over the past year, we have reported on huge alligators in the Lake Charles area. These gators are huge and have no care in the world when it comes to coming out of their natural habitat and walking the streets of Lake Charles.

I mean, we live in Southwest Louisiana, also known as a sportsman's paradise, and we have a ton of waterways, marches, and bayous where these alligators live. So it is only a matter of time before they get out of the water especially if those waterways, marshes, and bayous are located in the city limits of one of our Southwest Louisiana towns.

Earlier this year we reported about a massive gator that was seen crossing the round-a-about by the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. Did you see that huge dinosaur?  Check it out here.

How huge was he? We have had another alligator sighting in Lake Charles and it happened on Sunday, November 5th, 2023. The Lake Charles man who shot this video explained that he was headed to Sam's in Lake Charles when he got a surprise as this huge gator decided he wanted to go to Sam's too.

In the video you are about to watch, Mr. Matt breaks out his phone to record this big ole gator crossing the road. He explains in the video "This is what you get when you come to Lake Charles and come by L'Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles and films this big gator crossing the road.

Check this out!

Now he wasn't as big as the one we showed above, but that one is big enough that you would want to stay clear of him for sure. So next time you ride around in the casino areas in Lake Charles by either one of the beautiful golf courses, don't be shocked if you get treated by a big ole gator in the road.
